“The website was very easy to navigate to where you wanted to look which was nice. I liked how all the countries and their programs were listed separately so you could look at each place individually. I found the pre departure booklet to be excellent. I received very good information to read about where I will be going and it helped me a lot. I loved working at my placement and it was such a wonderful experience. Along with working with orphans I also taught English at a local government school which was excellent. I am very happy with what I did. The highlight for me was being able to get to know the children that I worked with. They are all very special. It was also a highlight of mine to meet all the other volunteers from other countries and form friendships. My whole experience was a highlight. The host family and place was perfect such great people. The meals were very good as well. We ate what local people eat so it was really very nice. I would recommend this program and organization to others for sure.”

“I have appreciated all the description providing on our My Account page. It is easy to know what stuff you need to provide. Good illustrations and information about the country you want to visit on website as well as My Account. The pre departure booklet was complete good information about cultural aspect of the country climate restrictions story of the country and political evolution. I appreciate the wards and clinics we have volunteered in. The nursing staff was opened to us and they were ready to explain us their ways of working. To meet Nepalese people and experiencing their culture was for me the highlight of my trip. Accommodations and meals were perfect. The hosts was attentive to our need and we have been well received all long our trip. I will surely recommend this program as anyone who is looking to gain some true international experience should volunteer abroad.”

“There are a lot of information and you can do many questions and to find the information there. The pre departure booklet was also quite good. I liked the program placement and enjoyed working with the kids. I realized that these children need care and love and I enjoyed playing with them and giving them what they needed which is truly satisfying and my highlight from the trip. The host family people are very nice and welcoming and I loved the food as well. I would live to come back again with the group of friends volunteers and do this program again with Volunteering Solutions.”

“The website had loads of information and it was easy to navigate. The pre departure booklet was very helpful and had interesting information especially in items of packaging. I loved working with disabled children and they all were full of life. The highlight was to know a new country and culture from local home. I have enjoyed living with local people instead of in a hotel. The accommodation and meals were good and the people were quite friendly as well so I would recommend this program to people who are looking to volunteer.”

“The pre departure booklet was really informative well developed and easy to read. I really enjoyed my work at the hospital in Kathmandu. Even though I opted for 2 weeks program option I can still say that I learned quite a lot of skills which are important for my future work. The highlight of my trip were the nice people I met while in Nepal. They all were very friendly open-minded and interested in discussion. The accommodation was fine and it was an interesting experience to me with other people. The Nepalese food was perfect for me since I am a vegetarian and people here don&#39 t have so much meat. Thank you so much. I had a great time and also giving me the chance to learn interesting new culture so I would recommend this program to anyone.”

“The destinations programs pages were complete clear and informative. I also liked My Account section on website. I found the pre-departure booklet very helpful to get introduced to the culture and habits of the destination country. Practical information was also there. I enjoyed working at my placement. It has been a very rewarding experience. Doctors and nurses were always willing to explain and let us helping with patients. It has been a wonderful experience both from personal and professional point of view. It helped me to witness a beautiful country meet new people from different countries and improved my medical skills. I found the accommodation and meals comfortable and very good. I would recommend this program to people.”

“I liked &quot My Account&quot section on website. The pre departure booklet was helpful and I also researched on my own. I absolutely loved my program placement. The new friends I made other volunteers and the kids. The kids were just so sweet to work with. The accommodation and meals were wonderful. Uma is a wonderful lady. She cooks great too. The children are awesome and they always made my day with their smiles. The time spent with them is my highlight from my trip to Nepal. The accommodation and meals both were okay.
