“The website is nice has secure login Pre - Departure information and guide to the destination. It was good that we had to provide flight arrival and departure details video testimonials. The pre departure booklet was very useful. The staff at Volunteering Solutions was helpful in answering our queries. I thoroughly enjoyed my volunteer placement at the orphanage in Nepal. Uma her family the helpers and children are wonderful. I have learnt alot about the Nepalese culture traditions people and way of life from my time here. Everyday at the project was a highlight! We arrived just in time for the month long celebration of festivals in October so the town was buzzing with atmosphere. At home we witnessed our host family prepare for the festivities. We even had a chance to watch the children perform a traditional Nepalese dance show for us. The accommodation was very good. I loved eating Nepalese food. Accommodation was comfortable. I enjoyed staying at the same place as the children. I will definitely recommend Volunteering Solutions.”

“The layout of the website was nice as well as the step by step information about program location and programs. I found pre departure booklet very helpful when preparing for the trip and we arrived Uma explained everything we needed to know which helped us feel at ease. The program placement was wonderful. The kids were eager to learn new English sentence and appreciate our help. The day we brought balloons and bubble mix for the kids and watching them play with them for hours is the highlight of my stay in Nepal. The accommodation was nice and meals were provided everyday for every meals. No complaints. I would surely recommend your organization.”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? All very Good. The staff were quick to reply to my queries. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Really enjoyed working at the school a little more direction in the beginning needed. Overall loved it. Accommodation and meals All excellent. I was made very comfortable felt very safe and welcomed. My privacy was always maintained. Meals were also really good. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of my trip was seeing the snow capped mountains of the Himalayas on my trek and during the volunteering I would get cheers and applause in every class I would go to. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES. I definitely would.”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Questions were answered promptly. The booklet had most of the answers I needed and loads of useful info. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes. The staff at the school were extremely welcoming and the students were keen to learn. Accommodation and meals Great home stay. The host and the children were wonderful. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Friendships made with the children and workers of the home stay and those made with other volunteers. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES. Definitely Any comments and suggestions Nice work. Great fun.”

“The website was very nice to get information about everything. The Pre-Departure booklet was very helpful! I felt safe and very organized. The service of the staff was kind and helpful. I very much enjoyed working at my placement ! It was truly an amazing experience. I will surely remember this for the rest of my life. To meet the children play with them and getting to know them was certainly the highlight of my trip. It was interesting to live as a Nepalese and not just live at a hotel. Accommodations and Meals both were very nice and enjoyable. Nothing to change here! I would surely recommend Volunteering Solutions to my friends and family. It is something that everyone needs to do.”

“I liked the website. I was able to read past volunteers reviews on their experience. The pre departure booklet was very informative and thorough. It answered pretty much all of my questions. I lessened my worries on what to expect and bring. I loved working at my hospital placement very much. I learned a lot from all the nurses and doctors. They all were very friendly and kind. The highlight of my volunteering at the hospital was being able to start IVS for the patients that needed the treatment. The nurses always helped and taught me how to do things. This 3 months trip was the best experience I have been through. I Loved traveling in Nepal meeting the kids and meeting other volunteers. Living with Uma Abhishek and the kids at the orphanage was wonderful. They are all very kind and fun to be around. My room was clean and was presented with clean sheets pillow and blanket on my bed when i arrived. I was given 3 meals a day which were always delicious. I would definitely recommend this to my friend and someone else that is interested in doing something like this. They would certainly have a great time.”

The pre departure booklet was good but the staff was amazing and extremely informative any time I called them to ask questions. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I very much enjoyed working with my project. I learnt so much and everyone was very nice and willing to help. Accommodation and meals Accommodations were better than I ever imagined. The meals were delicious and authentic. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Living in the home stay meeting the kids and other volunteers. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”
