“My volunteering experience in Morocco was wonderful. I was only for one week and worked at the orohanage with toddlers. Everything very well organised and with good information.Good co-workers here in Rabat. They helped with everything. Talked and tought us things at the dinner table.The house was clean and spacious and in a good neighborhood. The food was alright. Everything was perfect and flexible. The highlight of my trip was to be at the orphanage. To meet the marocan people and speek with them. Also Rabat is a fantastic and calm place.”

“I really appreciate everything for this volunteering program. Volunteering at a nursery school was a good experience to me studying education. Kids at the nursery school are so cute and energetic. I have got a plenty of time to organize them so I should have planned much more! Even though there was a language barrier I could spend precious time with kids there. Also teachers were so nice to me and I really want to say thank you for accepting me. Morocco is so exciting and amazing. Actually I like Morrocan food. It is really cheap and nice. I was surprised that the weather is so cold especially at night. Our Country Coordinator Ali is so nice and friendly. He always took care of us and supported the life there. And another staff at our accommodation was also so kind. This was the first time to visit Morocco as well as African countries so it could be so tough without their support. Finally I really appreciate the support from the Volunteering solutions staffs. You always answered any questions and it made me so prepared for leaving. This 1 week is definitely unforgettable one to me!”

“VolSol website is very well organized. Easy to find all required documents pre-requisites and the pre-departure booklet is also very informative. The service staff was very available and attentive. It has been one of the most memorable experiences so far. Taking back tons of memories. I volunteered in Morocco for a week with my Mom under childcare orphanage program and the experience has been absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed every min of our stay in Rabat. We feel blessed to have had this opportunity to spend time with these beautiful kids. Also our host Aicha took care of us like her own. She is an amazing person and lovely human being. The organizers Ali and Jihane too took care of us like family. They was with us and helped us at all times. Thank you so much for all the support. The kids are the highlight! Volunteering with the kids and the smiles in return was a rewarding experience. We feel blessed to have had this opportunity to spend time with these beautiful kids. “The website is very easy to navigate organized in a logical way and Included a lot of helpful information. The Pre-departure booklet was very helpful. Again I think more information about the specific placements would be useful. I also think a bit more information on what to pack would be nice. The service staff were very good very responsive and helpful. I enjoyed my placement very much and I felt like I was doing real work and made a real contribution. I learned a lot myself as well. My efforst are definitely appreciated. Everyone at the project was very appreciative and supportive. I thought the trip overall was an excellent experience. Accommodation was fine. It was not the most comfortable but I made do fine. I think again that some additional pre-departure information would be helpful. For example my house didn't have toilet paper. I would not have minded packing that myself I just had no idea that toilet paper would not be supplied to me. I liked the food there. The incountry support staff were excellent very friendly helpful and professional. The highlight of my trip was learning about Moroccan and North African culture and the struggles it faces. Overall a great trip. Very happy with my experience. Hope to do it again.”

“Even if it has been for few days i really appreciate the strength and the motivation of the women at the NGO. They made me participate to their work and gave me many information. Real interactions with people cultural exchanges different problems and situations faced were undoubtedly the highlight from this trip. The accommodation was great and the family very very welcoming (a big thank to them to make me feel like at home during the week) and the meals were good. Ali the coordinator was very helpful. He showed me around made sure everything was working in the proper way and was always ready to discuss and share experiences.”

“The pre departure booklet was really useful providing me with many helpful info. VS staff always replied promptly. I really liked my program placement and it&#39 s actually simple work but requires patience and care to others. The week tree really changes a lot thoughts of me. The placement was totally worth it and staff there were all so nice. I would love to stay there for longer time if I could. Every single day is a memorable and precious to me because I&#39 ve seen how those admirable people taking care of children day after day and I&#39 m so glad to be a part of them. The accommodation and meals were amazing! It&#39 s a beautiful raid in Medina busy and convenient in the daytime and also quiet at night. I couldn&#39 t be more grateful for my host family and their hospitality. I spent an incredible week with them! Ali our coordinator is an amazing person and a grate friend. He showed me around provided a lot of supports to me and helped me to adapt to my placement there. Many thanks to him! I will surely recommend this program to others.”
