“What areas did you like about our website? I thought the website was very well organized. It was easy to find the programs by the country of choice along with specific information about the programs. I liked the easy breakdown of fees and contact information was easily available. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? I think the Pre - departure booklet was very very helpful. It provided all the necessary information and all the little details were very helpful. The contact people in both Kenya and the main Volunteering Solutions Office in India were extremely helpful in answering questions in a timely manner. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I worked in a few different projects in both Mombasa and Nairobi. Mombasa: I worked with a few orphanages and schools. The projects were amazing. Nairobi: The projects were very nice in the city and the orphanage and the schools Accommodation and meals Nairobi: The volunteer house was AMAZING!! The food was really good as well. It was nice to live amongst other volunteers and share stories. Very good experience. Mombasa: The house was comfortable but there are a few improvements needed. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight was working with the kids at the orphanage and&ldquo it was a remarkable experience. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes definitely. I think overall it was a great experience and I LOVED IT and would definitely go back one day.”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? I came at extremely short notice. Sahil was quick to respond honest &amp detailed. I felt just fine about everything Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I was at an orphanage that I loved. It was quick to get to and fun and very rewarding. I loved it- the program coordinator - Joe really looked for something that would suit what I wanted to do in my comfort level. Thank You! Accommodation and meals Exceeded my expectations tremendously. Accommodation has solid beds hot water for showering very generous rooms. Mercy the host mother is a fantastic cook very helpful. Her daughter is hilarious. I had the most enjoyable experience. Coordinator Joe is great. A wealth of info he was able to give to give us directions anywhere. He was flexible with our placement and was available 24/7 for any situation. But he also allowed us to experience Kenya which was quite empowering Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES Absolutely! without any doubt! Kenya is a fantastic place to volunteer!”

The Pre Departure Booklet was very good - it covered so much. Sahil was excellent he answered all of my questions and in a very fast manner. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes! I loved working at the orphanage. The staff were very friendly and the kids were adorable. I loved working at the school too. The teachers and students were both great. Accommodation and meals The accommodations were very very nice. I had hot showers and a comfortable room. Mercy (my house mother) is an excellent cook and her daughter is hilarious. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of my volunteering experience was working at the orphanage. I miss those kids so very much. I loved going there everyday. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES Definitely!”

“What areas did you like about our website? Choice of programs in various countries and areas. Photos of past volunteers. Quick feedback and clarity of prices. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Staff was excellent with quick responses. The booklet could be a bit more detailed as far as list of clothing acceptable.. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? My placement was fantastic. What a life changing experience ! The school was so welcoming and the students truly affected my heart. I hope i brought a small amount of joy to them as they did to me ! Accommodation and meals My family Tom and Helen were AMAZING ! They welcomed me into their home and are truly part of my family. I learned so much about humanity generosity and love ! Meals were excellent too ! Helen&#39 s chapatis rock.. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? My trip was made by living in a mud hut like a true Masai. I got to mil and herd cows and sheep&#39 s before and after school. I earned a Masai name and became one of the tribe. I will miss this way of life dearly. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES Absolutely ! If one is not an outdoor person i would suggest volunteering in Nairobi and working there. Any comments and suggestions I love adventure and trying new things. This program allowed me to do so while making a small difference in the world. I met so many incredible people both Kenyan and volunteers it has renewed my faith in the goodness of humanity and strengthened my faith with god.”

“Pre Departure Very Good with no problems at all. Arrival/Airport Pick up Was Very good. Joe met me at the airport in good time and there were no problems. Placement / Volunteer Project Excellent! The flexibility was superb and made my stay even more enjoyable. Accommodation and meals Our host family is so friendly and welcoming and we have really enjoyed staying with them and spending time with them. Our family has really gone out of their way to provide a new and interesting food to us every meal time and they have been delicious! Coordinator Joe was fantastic and helped me in every possible way. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES!”

“Pre Departure Information and Contact Were very helpful emails answered very quickly and lots of information given about program and things we needed to bring along. Arrival/ Airport Pickup We were picked up by the coordinator. No problems at all. Project Placement We loved the orphanage we were placed and think it would be a great place for other volunteers they appreciated everything we done for them and never expected anything else from us like money. They made sure we were safe at all times. Accommodation and meals The family were very nice and a great help I would definitely recommend it to other volunteers. It was clean and I felt safe there. Coordinator VERY GOOD in contact regularly always visited to help and advise us. Helped us to visit other orphanages etc. to experience different things. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? YES Definitely..”

“What areas did you like about our website? I like the areas where I can be informed about places where we can do programs and about the volunteers experience. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? The information I got with the pre departure booklet was good. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Only good words about the projects and the placement. Accommodation and meals The accommodation was good and Mercy is a very good cook. I enjoyed her meals very much and I have to say that mercy and her daughter are very kind. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes.”

How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Very good. I had no problems with any of it. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I loved volunteering in Kenya. The orphanage program was amazing. The kids were wonderful and the staff was very helpful. Accommodation and meals Mercy and Ester were great to live with. The meals were lovely and the portions were great as well. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Working and getting to know all the kids. Safari was also great. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES!”
