“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? The Pre Departure Information Booklet was very helpful. It provided important information about Indian culture things to pack and our accommodation. It had info about all the specific things volunteers need to know. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes I did very much. The kids were so optimistic and fun to work with. Accommodation and meals The accommodations and meals were good. The freshly cooked vegetarian meals were delicious and healthy. No complaints whatsoever. The accommodations were comfortable. Coordinators and Staff Rajiv Yogen Dheeraj and everyone else associated with Volunteering Solutions were always helpful and enthusiastic in teaching volunteers about India. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of the volunteering experience was the service to the children at the center. Service towards those who need it and seeing the smiles on their faces was my most memorable highlight. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES. Based on my experience here in Delhi India Volunteering Solutions is a superb program.”

“What areas did you like about our website? The testimonials pictures and the details of the placement. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Pre departure booklet was very helpful as it is very detailed. It gave me a very good idea of what to expect. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes it was very enjoyable. The teachers were friendly and so the children were friendly and eager to learn. Accommodation and meals Accommodations was good. Room and bathrooms were clean. I liked the top floor area as this was the place we all sat together. Coordinator Bobby is very welcoming friendly and a lot of fun. He is always available to ask any questions and very helpful to all. Same also applies to Amit too. I really appreciate everything Bobby&#39 s wife Pratima helped me with. She is very welcoming and I felt really comfortable staying at their home. I would also like to thanks Bobby&#39 s parents who very friendly and warm and made my stay very comfortable too. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? A) Working at the school. B) The trekking trip was amazing. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes!! Any comments and suggestions Keep going with good work and support of the local placements.”

“What areas did you like about our website? I found it to be easy to search and enjoyed how each program was displayed with its costs and all information necessary. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? It was pretty good. Could possible add some more info on clothing for placement. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes I loved working at my placement. Accommodation and meals Both were great. My accommodation was beautiful comfortable and made me feel right at home. My meals were quite tasty. Coordinator Amit and Bobby are incredibly helpful kind funny and easy to get along with. They made coming to India and working in my placement a wonderful experience. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? I really enjoyed when the doctors I was working with were able to translate after every patient and let me look at the test results. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes. I found the price accommodations placement and staff all to be very pleasing.”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? The Pre departure packet was very informative and definitely prepared me for my trip. My only suggestion would be to add a snippet about Teaching /Maths/English for volunteers. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? The street children program is wonderful and has an incredibly compassionate and dedicated staff. The children are very welcoming and eager to learn. Accommodation and meals The accommodations are nice and the meals were good. Rajiv and Priya are great hosts. Coordinator The coordinator and staff were always quick to answer questions and help out whenever needed. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of the trip was working with the street children and watching with show so much excitement when they learned something new. The children truly made my experience completely unforgettable. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES. The work at street children shelter home is demanding but incredibly rewarding. Any comments and suggestions Looking forward to my next volunteer trip with VS !! :)”
