“I like the tracker system on the website which gave you a countdown until the start of your program.I have received my pre-departure booklet just on completing the online sign up process and I find it really informative. I volunteered in Delhi with Volunteering Solutions in July for two weeks. Obviously I was very nervous before I arrived as I'd never been to a foreign country before on my own. but upon arrival I was met with a smile at the airport and was driven straight to the accommodation. The staff and hosts at VolSol made us feel incredibly safe and comfortable and they were very welcoming. The volunteering experience was incredibly rewarding. Working with the kids and learning about their backgrounds is a very eye-opening experience and has made me eager to volunteer again some time soon. If given the option I'd also recommend going on the weekend excursions that VolSol offers to its volunteers. I opted to take the weekend trip to Jaipur and Agra which was an unforgettable experience. My placement was very enjoyable. The kids were fantastic and the placement was very organised with dedicated staff. The accommodation was fantastic and I really enjoyed the meals. The in-country staff was very organised dedicated and helpful. I really enjoyed volunteering with the kids but also trip to Jaipur and Agra particularly the Amber fort and Elephant ride. Overall I would highly recommend Volunteering Solutions and I will certainly be volunteering with them again some time in the near future!”

“Everything was very useful and friendly to use. It is very nice to have your own account with updated information on the website. The information was very easy to locate. The pre-departure booklet was very good it reflects the seriousness of the organization and makes you feel more safe. The staff was ok in answering all the questions. The street children project has been the most rewarding experience! The accommodation was excellent perfectly located and clean! It become like a home. The meals were ok! Working at the placement was the best part learning from Indian culture through meeting new people. Thank you for everything! You made these 7 weeks a life experience I will even tell to my grandsons when I get old! Your presence made everything way much easier! Continue with the promotion of helping others life will give it all back to you! And feel lucky of your amazing country different but totally interesting and rich in every sense! I will miss you!”

“The website was informative and user-friendly and the pre-departure booklet was also very informative and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the meals were good. The in-country support staff was very helpful and informative. The entire trip was the highlight sight seeing weekend trips the placement/project I enjoyed everything. Everything was good good experience good program and staff.”

“I like everything on the website. The pre-departure booklet was very helpful. the accommodation was very good more than we expected. The in-country staff are really kind helpful and reliable. especially Shankar and he is so handsome. Everything was wonderful and the highlight of my trip was experiencing India’s environment.”

“The staff was great. Every time when I had a question and write an e-mail I’ve got an answer very quickly and I didn’t have to worry. Tage service was good. I have got answers right away. My placement was great. I enjoyed the time with the kids and the staff. The girls I went with were a very good company. The accommodation was fine and the food was great. Great service If there were any questions we always had someone to talk to. Everybody was very nice. I think everybody at the Projekt was Happy that we we're there. It was a great experience. The Golden Triangle Tour and my birthday cakes are definitely the highlight of my volunteering trip. Also experiences: to see that people who have very less are very happy with what they have. I always recommend this organization and program this was the best experience of my life.”

“I liked the my account section on the website where I was able to easily upload all my information and access it quickly. The pre-departure booklet was extremely detailed and was useful especially as I have never been to India alone. My questions were all responded to. I really enjoyed my placement. It was great to see how the organisation works and the people that work there and the children were a pleasure to meet. The accommodation was lovely. It was in a safe area and felt like a little home. The meals were nice maybe sometimes too spicy. I didn’t really meet many staff members.Shankar and his brother were really great! and everyone on the Agra and Jaipur weekend trip were great too. Meeting the children and the women’s at Project Center was the highlight of my trip. They were really wonderful inspirational people and it was a pleasure to help their organization.”

“All of the information I needed was very fast to access on the website well placed and easy to work with. The staff response on emails was very good I am very satisfied. I liked working with the children but the placement’s environment was very dirty as I am in street children program. Accommodation was good and comfortable meals were ok adding a little bit of meat would make them even better. The in-country support staff was very helpful. I spent very short time with children so we didn’t have time to know each other very well.”

“The predeparture booklet was very informative and helpful. Working at the day care center has been an amazing experience. The accommodation was very comfortable and I have had very nice moments. Meals were very nice!. The people I have met including the children the staff and other volunteers are the highlight of the trip. And also being able to discover a bit better the wonders of India and its culture and its sites. An incredible experience would definitely recommend!”
