“The website layout is good easy steps and very clear about expectation/requirements needed to participate in Program. It would be great to know more before we come about what we would be doing. The pre-departure booklet and service staff were awesome. I loved the project. Rajiv and Sunita were great the kids were great... I loved working with everyone for 3 weeks. So sad to leave! I will miss everyone! Accommodation and meals were great. Shankar and Ramesh are amazing. The food was delicious. It was a great taste of Indian culture. The accommodation was clean and tidy very nice. I can’t say it enough the in-country staff Ramesh and Shankar were Amazing! Thank you to all other staff as well– our stay was great. I always felt safe and taken care of. Our accommodation &amp staff at the accommodation were great. The highlight for me was interacting with the kids. It was also great to know that they had amazing people looking out for them like Rajiv &amp Sunita. The School itself was great. It would be better if there will be more guidance and descriptions about the goal of the school and what is expected such as what is to be taught what the kids like to be taught etc. At first it’s a little confusing we are wondering what to do with the kids. Some suggestions would be good. Not a big deal though– everything was great! Thank You!”

“I thought the website was very well organized and easy to navigate. The pre-departure booklet was incredibly helpful when planning for my trip. It helped me to know what to pack and what to anticipate for my experience over in India. The staff answered all of my questions very quickly and thoroughly. I absolutely loved my project. It was an incredible organization which I hope to be able to work with in the future. I would like to hope they found my presence useful. I made a very nice connection with the girls at the orphanage and still keep in touch with them via email. The meals were very nice. All vegetarian and very filling. Rajiv and his staff were more than helpful with whatever questions we had during our stay. They helped us with sightseeing opportunities as well as local restaurants and shopping. The highlight of my trip was seeing the smiles on the girls' faces at the orphanage every time we walked in each day. They were so excited to see us and warmly welcomed us every afternoon.”

“I really appreciate the links to interviews and reviews of the projects and accommodations and found them very informative. The opportunity to chat online with a coordinator was definitely a help as well. While coordinators were very helpful in answering our questions through chat/email it would be really nice to know about the project beforehand ( Such as what kind of things the kids need home many kids are there etc.) I loved the project working with the kids has been so rewarding. I feel like they teach me more than I can teach them! I will miss them so much!!! Excellent Food. I think I am going to miss the breakfasts especially My brothers were very jealous before I came here because of all the delicious Indian food I would be eating! Shankar Ramesh Rajiv Dheeraj Parag Sahil Shreya – everyone has been just wonderful and very accommodating! The same goes for Rajiv and Shmita – so welcoming! The kids for sure the highlight of my trip. Their bright faces and love and energy will be in my memory forever. I wish I could bring them all home. Our trek was a little rough but everyone was very accommodating and willing to work things out. Thank you so much for an unforgettable amazing experience!Hope to see you all again someday!”

“The website was very well organised easy to explore and informative. The pre-departure booklet provided all the necessary information a volunteer would like to know before travelling to a foreign country. Also the staff was very helpful supportive and willing to answer all kind of questions. I enjoyed working on the placement with all the kids. However I would prefer to be given some activities we could use to improve the English level of the children because the placement teacher insist on teaching only the ABC animals and fruits name that the kids already know. The place we stayed was in a very nice area close to a market clean and comfortable and the meals were tasty and very well cooked. The coordinators and staff were really nice people always willing to help and offer their knowlegde and support. Thank you everyone!!! I really liked the different way of everyday life of Indian people. I enjoyed and admired the spectacular moments ( Taj Mahal Akshardham Temple Lotus Temple) of India as well as the Indian culture. Volunteers could teach sentences question – answers that kids could use when speaking with foreigners. Some basic English in order to communicate and understand foreign people. This way one can make the most of their volunteering experience and can actually offer their help and feel useful not just keep company and play with the children.”

“VolSol website was clear and easy to follow and the pre-departure booklet was also very useful. 10/10 My placement was amazing educationally spiritually and was deeply touching to my heart. The women are special and need all the help we can give them. I loved working at the Women's Centre and being able to watch the women grow learn and develop their self-esteem. It was worthwhile to spend time with the women and the workers who embraced me and took me to spend time with their families. The accommodation was clean tidy and very comfortable and meals are healthy and delicious. I find the staff friendly respectful polite helpful and approachable. Support from all staff was professional and helpful. Orientation was extremely helpful in enabling me to get to and from my placement as well as outings on weekends. 12/10 Spending time with the women and staff at the centre and watching the women change and grow is the highlight of my trip I now have a full heart and a permanent smile. I will definitely recommend this programme for women to share with women is a very valuable thing. Keep up the great work!”

“Everything is good about website every area gave the information I was looking for. The pre-departure booklet was very helpful and if I was not sure I asked the people from Volunteering Solutions and got fast and smooth answers. I liked working at my placement and it is an unforgettable experience for me. I loved everyday when I worked with the children. The coordinators were very helpful and addressed all my queries very professionally. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and meals were tasty!! I would recommend Volunteering Solutions to anyone who is looking to volunteer abroad.”

“I like the homepage of the website it’s very easy to navigate and pictures videos and feedback of past volunteers looks nice and engaging. The pre-departure booklet was amazing! So very helpful. And the service staff Sahil and Parag were incredible – so quick to answer my emails! I loved my project. My orphanage placement was amazing (the children/staff...) but the volunteer work wasn’t completely substantial. My Okhla placement with street children was amazingly perfect! So wonderful. No improvements needed. Accommodation is very comfortable and would like to have more variety in meals suggestions - egg/omelettes and chicken. The in-country staff are very friendly and supportive during the entire placement. I am so appreciative. The people and children I had to work with are the real highlights of my trip. I am so blessed to have been able to have this opportunity. The Okhla placement was perfect! I have already recommended Volsol to a friend back home who is now applying through VolSol for a future trip! Thank you so very much! God bless you all!”

“The pre-departure booklet helps me a lot to prepare myself. In addition more photos of the program. It was an exciting and helpful experience for me. I wanted to deal with less resources! Meals are tasty and enough! Just like the accommodation is clean and there is a lot of room. I will never forget the work with the kids and the cultural characteristics. The in-country staff team were always responsive. ?I would recommend others to have a volunteering experience.”
