“The website was easy to pursue. I easily found any information I wanted. Especially with the normal web page. The pre-departure book was very helpful and I used it often. I learned a lot &amp was able to gain valuable insight about approaching patient care. Being in the OT and getting to see surgery are the highlight of my volunteering experience. These are procedures I wouldn't have access to back home. Accommodation and meals were just fine. I felt safe &amp secure &amp always had plenty to eat. I appreciate all the work towards making meals for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything.”

“Volunteering in the slums in Delhi experiencing Indian culture including food dress and traditions visiting the Taj Mahal spending time with the other wonderful people in our group of volunteers volunteering in Palampur are few of my favorite moments from the whole India trip. The children were so excited to see us in Delhi they were happy to have someone there to pay attention to them and listen to them and they were eager to share their culture with us by teaching us Indian dances or about Indian dress etc. in Palampur they were very happy to have a new look for their daycare centre and the room looked so much bigger and brighter after we were finished painting murals. The overall living experience was excellent. It was very comfortable and homely stay with all the facilities I could have asked for. The in-country staff was very friendly and supportive. They made the program easier and smooth. The content on the website was appropriate and helped me get the information I was looking for but I would prefer more detailed kit list in the pre-departure booklet. The service of the staff in regards to answering my questions and helping me prepare for my trip was outstanding. I would highly recommend VolSol to my friends and family mostly because of the services. Thank you for everything I had an amazing trip.”

“I loved the trip really has opened up my life to India. It shows how good a country is. I will definitely come back to India after falling in love with the country. The experience was amazing and I'm very happy that I've done it. I'd recommend it to everyone that would want to go to India. I felt very appreciated at the projects as the locals were very friendly and thankful for what we did. The meals were really nice and showed a good insight into how the people in India eat. The accommodation was all very good and are of a high standard I especially liked the guest house in Delhi due to the homely feel it had. The overall living experience was excellent. It was very comfortable and homely stay with all the facilities I could have asked for. The orientation session as very good. It was easy to understand and very helpful especially the prices for the rickshaw. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and are a credit to the program. Volunteering in Delhi (Kamal Lochan society) painting the mural in Palampur Taj Mahal visit volunteering in Palampur traveling and seeing the culture of the country placement at Elephant camp and night out with the team are few of my favorite moments from the entire stay. The service was always very good and up to a high standard. At all point in the trip I feel safe with the staff. The staff was very supportive in all areas. Especially Parag Shankar Bobby and Amit. I would instantly recommend this program to all of my friends and family and anyone else who is thinking about traveling to any parts of the world that Volunteering Solutions covered. I look forward to traveling with volunteering solutions in the future.”

“Everything was very clear in the Pre-departure booklet received us from the VolSol Team to prepare us for the trip. Meals are a good mix between homecooked meals and meals of different cuisines and well-suggested places for travelling with a group Everything was amazing. The orientation session was really well conducted. We get a proper information about what we have to take care of local languages cultures few Hindi phrases and many other little things that were useful and important for our trip. Having lunch at the local restaurant named Nathu’s in Delhi is something I will never forget it was very delicious. Visiting the beautiful Akshardham temple in Delhi and the Wonders of The World Taj Mahal and Marble Factory in Agra witnessing tea plantation in Palampur and working with Elephants in Jaipur are few of my favorite moments. Everyone from the in-country staff was amazing. Each one has a different personality that made the trip even better. I will definitely recommend this program to everyone. I have already recommended this to few of my friends.”

“I really enjoyed playing with kids teaching them hanging out with other volunteers and learning more about the culture difference. I felt my efforts get appreciated there and the overall living experience was excellent. Our accommodation was very comfortable and homely stay with all the facilities I could have asked for. The in-country staff was very friendly and supportive. They made the program easier and smooth. The overall website design was quite attractive and navigating the site was easy. It seems perfect to me. The pre-departure booklet was completely helpful. Got all the information I needed. The service staff was outstanding. I would highly recommend VolSol to my friends and family mostly because of the services. I would rate this overall volunteering experience as 9 out of 10 and would suggest to keep expanding but keep it personalized at the same time.”

“The pre-departure booklet was very useful. Good checklist for documents needed on the trip. There could have been more information on Visa cost + application reassuring step by step advice when arriving at the airport information on specific programs + age group prior to departure. I enjoyed the placement. The children and the staff all were very nice. I enjoyed having younger children but perhaps an option of either younger or older children could have been preferred for some. The 1-hour journey was not a problem but was not anticipated so warning could be given. Overall very good! All meals were very tasty but basic could have been nice to have some chutneys etc with meals. And fresh fruit at breakfast could be offered. Nice to have tea at breakfast. The Kids were the highlights! The Golden Triangle Tour was a lot of fun and the whole hostel went to Hauz Khas village was great. I absolutely recommend this program. It has been a real eye opener. I learned a great deal about Indian culture and myself! An experience! I will remember for the rest of my life! Thank you!! All the staff was very kind and accommodating. Rajiv and Priya were always very happy to help. WiFi and water supply is a bit concern other than that all very good and I enjoyed my time in Delhi very much!”

“What I like the most about the website was how well everything was explained plus the big amount of information about the program. It really helped me feel confident and safe. The pre-departure booklet was very helpful and the service staff replied my queries in less than 24 hours. I enjoyed my placement. It was shocking at the beginning but that’s what volunteers are looking for anything different from our comfort zone. The children are nice and welcoming so are the teachers and all the staff. The accommodation is not bad. I’d like to have our own space like a living room and the kitchen downstairs as the other placements do. The in-country staff was helpful. What makes this experience unforgettable is the kids. Also the different culture and the great people you meet from another part of the world.”

“I liked that you could contract the program directors on the website. We were able to ask a lot of question and they got back to us promptly. The booklet was very helpful and the staff was amazing at answering questions efficiently and in a timely manner. I loved it ! The kids were so cute and eager to learn. They loved having fun and were respectful. I will never forget them and I am grateful to have met each one of them. The accommodation was good. I loved having AC at night! I also liked all the bolts on the doors cause it made me feel safe The meals were amazing! Wow! I looked forward to every single meal ! Great cooks! I can’t say enough good things about the staff. All of them were friendly helpful and made me feel at home. I know that if I had a problem I could go to anyone and they would help. Thank you so much! There were so many highlights! The biggest was the people. Getting to know Shankar and Ramesh and the other staff members was a pleasure. The kids were so amazing! It was so fun to work with Shmita and Rajiv at the School. Ofcourse I will recommend this program! this program was life changing! Thank you so much for this opportunity. I enjoyed it so much and will never forget all of you! Thank you and I love you all!”
