The website is very easy to understand and very clear layout. The Pre departure booklet was very helpful. I Love the program placement at hospital. I also liked being able to help out in other areas like school the village and the orphanage. The highlight of my trip was seeing a little 2 week old baby at the hospital open his eyes and move around after being unconscious the day before because Rose bought him and gave him medication as his family couldn&#39 t afford. It made me realize that once person can make a difference. The accommodation was great! I was not expecting to have my own room and fan so that was very nice. Rose always made very good meals. My coordinator was very helpful in answering questions before hand too. I will surely recommend Volunteering Solutions. I just wish I could stay longer and hope to come back soon.

What was your work in the project? I have taught in Ghana for two months at a school. And I worked mainly in a village and I taught the older students math and English. In the afternoon I was also at a girls school. Were you satisfied with the accommodation and food? Yes the house was beautiful. I lived in a house with other volunteers. It was not too far into the city but also not too far into the village. The food was fine. Have you got along well with the contact person on site? Yes very good beginning. He has always tried to make me what I wanted to do. What were the highlights of your stay? In any case to play football with the kids. I bought them with other volunteers together a new game and they were very pleased that the next day the whole village knew my name but also practice reading for me . My weekend trips to the Kintampo waterfalls were also very enjoyable. Would you recommend this project? Absolutely! It&#39 s a great experience no one should miss. In no other way you can learn about a foreign culture so well.
