“My trip was one of the most memorable ones for sure. I met amazing volunteers from all over the world was kindly welcomed by the locals and fell in love with the people at the Magna orphanage! Great trip! It was extremely worthwhile as I definitely plan on going back! I felt like part of the family there! Meeting so many incredible people and discovering a country that was new to me. Definitely recommend everyone to join and participate in this program! Will definitely come back soon! Thank you for everything!”

“Our group had a positive experience overall. The trip went well. The accommodations experiences and on ground support were all as expected. Our group of 15 students felt the experience was a strong one for their growth and learning. The local staff and coordinators Very Friendly and Supportive. Would rate the trip 4 on a scale of 5.”

“I Had the most amazing 2 weeks in Cambodia. I experienced walking about in a massive flood pushed our tuk-tuk which had got stuck in the rain ate a cricket cruised down the streets of Phnom Penh on a motor seen amazing view of sunrise in Angkor Wat. I really enjoyed the food there the avocado shake and spring rolls are must try and their chocolate banana pancakes is something not to miss. I definitely came home with much more love than I had to give through the amazing locals who were ever so friendly and welcoming. Above everything else had got to meet the amazing kiddos whom I've absolutely fallen in love with. I will recommend everyone to Volunteer in Cambodia with Volunteering Solutions. “I liked the introduction about the projects on the website. I find the pre-departure booklet on the net and I think it was good. I enjoyed my placement children in orphanage were so warm. I felt my efforts get appreciated. Accommodation and meals were fantastic! Better than my imagination. The in-country staff were really helpful and I really appreciate them. The children were soooo nice! I wish I could stay for a long time with them.”

“Volunteering Solutions Staff Sahil answered every question of mine which helped me a lot. I really enjoyed working at the NACA orphanage. The kids there are enthusiastic and very smart. They are willing to express themselves and show great respect to us as teachers. I feel my experience was worthwhile. When the last day came I didn't expect myself to cry. But when about twenty lovely kids sang the only Chinese song they knew to us with some wrong pronunciation I felt that really touched. I think although two weeks is very short and the kids will have many other teachers like me and maybe they won't remember me if they learn something from me no matter it's English or maths or even Chinese I think then my experience was worthwhile. The accommodation was very good and the meals are delicious. The in-country staff were also very good. I knew several great kids who loved China and Chinese. I hope that one day I will go back to NACA.”

“I very much enjoyed my program placement. The staff at the placement made me feel very welcome and the children were also a joy to teach. Seeing the kids understand what I teach was very rewarding. The highlight would definitely be the children. I will miss them very much. The accommodation and meals were very good and the family was very welcoming. The coordinators were helpful and always available. I will recommend Volunteering Solutions to people looking to volunteer abroad.”

“The staff was very responsive and made my trip a lot easier. Being able to get my questions answered quickly and thoroughly made my experience all the more better. I liked my program placement. I felt like even though I only stayed for eight weeks I was able to feel like my presence was very much appreciated and helpful. I thought the host family was very kind and helpful. However I did find it very lonely at times so I decided to move to the Guesthouse where all the other volunteers were. After moving I was able to connect with more volunteers and enjoy my time more. The local coordinators were very helpful and welcoming. If we ever had any questions or concerns we could address it with them and they would sort it all out. It was wonderful having that support. Definitely the people I have met was my highlight from volunteering in Cambodia. I have created life long friendships with so many amazing people from all over the world. From other volunteers to my students and to the staff of the organization I worked at. It was absolutely incredible. Such a wonderful and positive experience. While it was very difficult at times I found myself being challenged both mentally and physically which is what I wanted. I am so glad I had decided to volunteer in Cambodia and I would encourage anyone who reads this to do it also! It is life changing!”

“Just want to say how amazing Volunteering Solutions are. At the very last minute I organized to do 1 months charity work at a Cambodia orphanage in July and Sahil and the rest of the team were really helpful. As someone who was unsure of... what to do and where to go Sahil told me all the options and then made a fantastic recommendation to go to Cambodia. When I arrived there I was well looked after by my host family and other aid organizations and had a really rewarding month. I could not have done this without the help from Sahil and the team. What I really appreciated was how flexible they were with me - especially seeing as I planned it at the last minute. A great organization. I would definitely use them again. Thank you so much Sahil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
