This style 2 butterfly wing nut has a head size of 60mm x 31mm and a 18mm x 5mm step size. It utilises a M8 Brass Through thread.

Our butterfly wing screws are manufactured from a resistant Thermoplastic and are recommended for most fastening uses, providing excellent ergonomic properties for hand-fastening uses. They come with a Brass female or through thread and feature a 'butterfly' style head, and are available in a range of sizes and metric thread options from M5 to M10.

They are commonly used as threaded nuts to hold a thread in place or as fixing elements for easy hand adjustment. They are finished in black and can be screwed in past their head with a threaded through option.

“The item itself is adequate which is fine since it is a simple, functional part. It was let down by a lack of attention given by the supplier. I ordered four items. They were paikcked and checked with so little attention that one o the four was the wrong size. Selling simple things can be very profitable - eg Amazon but the effect of careless handling is magnified by the simplicity. It remains to be seen how the supplier handles the replacement.”
