“I put 2 on each foot of a pretty heavy two seater leather settee The flooring is laminated oak When the settee was moved it left black adhesive marks on the flooring which was difficult to remove Some of the pads had rolled up on the foot Seems there was too much friction So unfortunately I have had to replace them with a thicker non-rubber pad which has stronger adhesive and a bit less friction so it is easier to move—-but prevents the settee from sliding when sitting down on it”

Good afternoon Simon, Please accept our apologies that the parts ordered were not suitable for the intended use and for any inconvenience this has caused. Our Adhesive Rubber Pads are best used as anti-slip feet for use on hard surfaces, such as wood, as they are made from an anti-slip form of EDPM rubber foam. A more suitable alternative of adhesive pad for this use would be our Teflon Glides, as these are perfect for aiding the movement of heavy furniture across all flooring!
