Our Tower Castor Glides are a popular solution for adding stability to the bases of office chairs and furniture. Unlike conventional wheel castors, they offer fixed stability while still providing some gliding ability, allowing chairs to be easily moved across carpets without causing damage.

Manufactured to a high standard, our glides consist of a durable polyamide plastic outer and a steel stud interior. They are easy to install and provide a convenient way of making office furniture easier to move.

This office chair glide has a Base Diameter of 50mm, with a Stem Diameter and Length of 10mm x 22mm. Its Tower Height is 36mm and Tower Width is 36mm.

“Very good value; easy to fit (replacing small wheeled castors on new 3-piece suite). Renders furniture not quite so easy to move on thick pile carpet, but manageable. Only quibble was remnant of sticky label left on underside of one glider which required solvent to remove. Very efficient ordering process: despatched same day as online order and received the following day by 1st class post.”

“Well made direct replacements for castors. Easy to put on and very effective in avoiding movement on laminate floors. I would mention that I incorrectly measured the stem on the castors and as a result I was sent incorrect glides. Following a conversation they were replaced with the correct ones almost by return. Excellent customer service.”
