Our alloy wheel masking discs are made from a high temperature resistant Crepe Paper. The cream coloured wheel masking covers have a uniquely formulated acrylic rubber adhesive backing. This ensures a quick and easy, peel and stick application and will hold the disc in place during the powder coating process.
The discs are designed to provide high temperature resistance up to 215°c and in tests performed at a continuous heat of 165°c for 20,000 working hours. This means that the product is perfectly suited to the coating, baking, blasting and treating processes that are commonly used during Alloy Wheel refurbishment.
This particular product comes with a Disc Diameter of 180mm and a Roll Size of 500 discs. The primary goal of the product is to save powder coating garages, bodyshops and alloy wheel repair workshops time and increase the efficiency of their masking processes. It is most commonly applied to the rear of the wheel hub during coating to cover and prevent the uneven buildup of powder that can lead to wheel wobble.
