“It came on a roll with no backing paper as illustrated in the instructions, therefore one didn't know which side, if any, was the correct side to fit to the window, used the proper solution of water and washing up liquid with a fine spray gun, at first it seemed OK but after 48 hours was coming off at the bottom and halfway up the window, now I have to redo the spray every couple of days, not good for £15 for just over 100 cm x 55 cm window.”

Thank you for your recent order and your review.
We are so sorry that you have had trouble with the Dark Tinted Solar window film and it has fallen off the windows. We think the reason this will have occurred is because you didn't remove the fine clear liner before fitting the film, this is the only reason we have ever know window film to fall off the window after fitting it. This film doesn't have a paper backing just a fine clear liner.
If you are struggling to remove the liner we recommend that you place a small piece of Sellotape either side of one corner and pull apart, this should release the liner from the film.
Once the clear liner has been removed this will expose the adhesive side of the film that is then fitted to the glass internally. Once fitted the film will dry onto the glass.

“This dark window film has delivered perfect results - it has cut down the sunlight that was blinding me at my desk in the afternoon. If affords some privacy too, while not harming my view of outside during daylight hours. I'm thinking I might install it on other windows now. A warning: it IS difficult to apply -- like dealing with a large sheet of soapy wet clingfilm that waves in every breeze and wants to attach itself to itself. I wish I'd got someone to help me with another pair of hands, which would have avoided me making a couple of creases. I also found it hard to cut a clean line - perhaps my stanley knife blade wasn't quite sharp enough. For irregular shaped or curved windows, next time I would cut a paper template to overcome the problem of cutting a difficult shape in situ. However, the instructions are clear and a helpful tool is included in the box. Perhaps order a metre or two extra to practise on?”
“I wanted to replace some curtains but retain some privacy. The dark tinted film did just that for me. It's very difficult to see in but you can still see out. The film was straight forward to apply so long as you follow the instructions given. I would definitely recommend.”
