“The last thing to mention is the bike, which is an Ostro VAM and an absolutely amazing machine. Having come from an SL7, I didn’t expect the difference to be huge but the bike just wants to go and go fast! It redefines what a stiff frame is and the five spoke wheels are just incredible and not the slightest bit harsh when setup tubeless - even on British B roads!”

“25 years ago I was an obsessive cyclist who always rode on the ‘drops’ chasing speed. I thought I was over that. On my first ride of the Factor I was back into my old habits! The bike is noticeably faster than my current bikes and combined with the Black Inc 45mm wheels I am setting the fastest times on my routes. Even though I own two Colnagos this bike feels special and is on a different level. I love the balance that has been achieved between designing an aero bike for speed that also delivers a great deal of comfort.”

“After riding a Dura Ace clad Pinarello Dogma for a couple of years I thought I’d try the Ostro VAM. From the first pedal strokes it felt quicker and nimbler. Putting in the miles on some rough roads it’s noticeably not as harsh as the dogma, i was surprised just how much this makes a few hours on the bike a better experience but without loosing out on any speed or handling. It really is an amazing bike. The naked carbon, chrome frameset and ALDHU carbon cranks look absolutely stunning in the flesh, pictures on the internet just don’t do them justice. If your looking for a top end bike contact Vires Velo, you won’t be disappointed.”

“The Vam-pire has landed. What a bike. I love it. Handing is amazing, so assured and comfortable. What I'm finding after 3 rides is that my efforts are able to be sustained for longer and faster. It doesn't feel like an aero bike. I had a System 6 for a while and it seemed one dimensional. The Ostro is a complete all round package. Climbs, rolls along at 40kph on a club ride, handles better than any bike I've ridden - on descents you drop a shoulder and the bike follows - and it has a class and feel about it that just brings a grin to your face. It also turns heads, which is nice........”

“Bar far the quickest, most comfortable and best looking bike i've ever owned. I didn't buy into the Hype at first as i've owned many other high end bikes before, but honestly go and test ride an Ostro and let the bike do the talking. The custom spec you get to choose from is unbelievable.”

“Well what can I say. Mine is now christened 'The Ostro Arrow'. I have never heard a negative comment about the Ostro. Without doubt a quick bike. The bike is stiff but comfortable. It doesn't beat you up like some stiff race bikes. Gets up to speed exceptionally quickly and also handles very well. Very confident on descents and fast corners. Now with 2 Tour De France stage wins speaks for itself. On a personal level, my average speed has increased. I look forward to every ride and achieving more Strava pb's. You have probably realised by now that I am absolutely chuffed with my Factor Ostro VAM.”
