“The ostro vam is an absolute weapon of bike. It’s fast on the flats and just seems to carry free speed, climbs like a dream, descends like it’s on rails. It’s stiff when sprinting and yet still compliant and comfortable to ride long distances. So impressed with it and not ridden anything that compares to the quality of this bike.”

“A true race bike. Absolutely rapid uphill, down hill and on the flats. The wheels are good all rounders but I would upgrade to a more aero set for the riding around SW London where I live and keep the Black Inc 58/48 for trips to Europe. If you are in the market for a thoroughbred racer this is an excellent choice, bike is very flattering and a joy to ride. Would not recommend for new riders or those looking for a more sedate experience, this a V8 2 seats sports car not a GT Tourer.”

“Where ever I go I get comments about the Ostro Vam in that it's one of the nicest looking bikes out there at the moment. I used it in anger in several road races and I also competed in a crit series over five races where I ended up third overall. The Ostro Vam gives you complete confidence and is like cornering on rails. It's stiff and compliant and excels when you get it up to speed, this is down in part to the excellent Black Inc wheels which are insanely light but also stiff. I love the design of the bottle cages which enhance the aerodynamics and the new handlebar is very comfortable. All in all the Ostro Vam is a very capable bike which looks a million dollars.”

“My 2nd Factor, upgraded and swapped out from my Gen 1 02, brilliant service as always from the team at Viresvelo, kept upto date throughout the purchase, dropped off the 02 and yhe team flipped my running gear from my 02 to the Ostro, excellent service. The Ostro is sublime and the perfect upgraded. Everything about the experience is brilliant, you are made to feel special throughout the process would definitely recommend Viresvelo to anyone and everyone.”

“My Factor Ostro VAM has the exclusive UK colourway in gun metal and bronze( I think mine was the first to be sold) in June. On Sunday 24th September 2023 it was the Gran Fondo Nove Colli, one of the longest running Gran Fondos (52 yrs), the weather up until Sunday had been perfect, blue skies 28-29deg calm winds - incredible. However on Sunday the weather was quite different, biblical rain for 5 hours mist and temperatures between 10 and 15 deg but in reality, this did not matter. I was fully prepared for the event, training had gone well so the ride was not an issue. What made the ride was realising just how good the Factor Ostro VAM was, super quick on the flats, holding its speed in the quick groups on the run-ins to the climbs, and a super stable platform to get the power down for the climbs many of which were between 15-20deg. The descents were sketchy to say the least due to the wet conditions however the bike was confidence inspiring and sure footed. Comfort was the best I have experienced on a bike thanks to the bike and to the bike fit. To cap it all in an area stuffed with Pinarellos and Colnagos I got so many compliments for my bike. I think I could have sold quite a few. I may seem to be gushing but this is exactly how it was and will continue to be I am sure. So, many thanks to you all at ViresVelo for helping with getting my bike and for Factor for producing an awesome machine.”

“What a stunning bike. From the very first ride everything about the bike just felt right. It is fast, responsive, light, climbs well, descends well, and on top of all that it looks great too. Attention to detail is brilliant, everything was fitted perfectly and I found no reason to alter or tweak anything other than adjust the saddle for height when I got it home. People still ask me if it is as good as all the reviews, my answer is NO, it’s better. My old bike was full on aero, but on my first outing with the Factor I managed a KOM on Strava. Due to a serious cycling accident I have been off my bike for 12 weeks (no Ostro Vam was involved in this incident). I’m now back on the Ostro Vam I’d forgotten how good it is, BRILLIANT.”
