“House Sparrows seem happy to eat white millet. By offering one feeder of millet and one of mixed seed I am feeding the sparrows and the tits and finches. Sparrows used to be everywhere that people lived but have been lost from many gardens. Unlike the tits they stay in one place and need food there all the time.”
