Buy this mix frequently as it effectively stops waste seed germinating an growing below the bird table.

As you said it doesn't do so well in damp conditions! Pleased that it doesn't leave a mess. I made the mistake of scattering it on the snow last week, then it snowed and I scattered again. Now that the snow has all gone (from Aberdeen) the birds are having to make do with the soggy stuff on the ground or the dry version in the feeders. Also used the seed to make cakes which were consumed very quickly when the weather was really cold. Now I have some left for the next cold snap.

Since I discovered your won't grow mix I use nothing else. The birds love it and waste nothing. Good value.

It does what it says on the tin, or should that be the bag. The birds like it so much there is no dropped food left behind for the little furry things. As to Vine House I can only say consistently excellent service at all times. Well done to all.

I'm massively impressed with the bird food. I've bought so many different no-mess mixes over the years and every time I end up with a lot of waste that goes slimey and grows into weeds. Since I got this the variety of birds in my garden has been amazing (even got a thrush for the very first time in 10 years of living there) and they are eating every last bit with no waste. I'll definitely buy this again.

Not only do I not find lots of seedlings in my garden, I do find lots of birds, especially house sparrows.
