This seed is excellant. I always get an array of birss coming too the feeders from, sparrows, blue tits, greenfinch and stirlings The gound feeder tray attracts thrushes, blackbirds. Robins and wagtiails. And the seed does as it says never any sign of the seeds growing when dropped by the birds onto my grass or flower borders i have tried many Wont grow seeds and sone do not do what they say. I have brought this seed from vinehouse for many years and will continue to do so. They are very helpful, reasonable priced. So I thourougjly recommend them. It’s ideal because it suits all birds and I don’t have masses of seedlings to contend with. The birds distribute plenty of feed onto the ground for the pheasants blackbirds etc and unfortunately the grey squirrels

Been buying this for years. Birds seem to love it and great not to have a little forest of weeds underneath

The birds love it, especially the two regular pigeons, didn't have many before, but now have pied wagtail, robins and wren, it's great especially for keeping weeds away.

This is a very good seed mixture because the birds seem to like it just as much as the one I previously bought but it genuinely doesn’t grow which is a huge improvement.

Buy this mix frequently as it effectively stops waste seed germinating an growing below the bird table.

As you said it doesn't do so well in damp conditions! Pleased that it doesn't leave a mess. I made the mistake of scattering it on the snow last week, then it snowed and I scattered again. Now that the snow has all gone (from Aberdeen) the birds are having to make do with the soggy stuff on the ground or the dry version in the feeders. Also used the seed to make cakes which were consumed very quickly when the weather was really cold. Now I have some left for the next cold snap.
