Our once-used bird food bins are ideal for storing bird food. We have recycled them and cleaned them up for a second use. They are able to hold 25kg of most of our bird foods. They are made from tough plastic with a screw on lid, making them mouse and rat proof. We believe they are the best value food storage bin around

These bins are repurposed - they are cleaned at Vine House Farm and the lids replaced. Occasionally this causes a vacuum, causing slight difficulties in twisting the lid off. The usual remedy is to carefully release the vacuum with a flat ended screwdriver. Please note that the thread does not go all the way around the rim of the bin, the lid needs to be turned and lifted, as opposed to it being unscrewed

“Brilliant - I have three - keep my bird seed and other bird related 'stuff' dry and conveniently placed as I have two bird feeders each has its own seed bin...!! The third one holds spare feeders,suet blocks etc , cleaning bits and is in my shed! .............”

“Ordered one which was perfect - the second one I ordered, had a lid which would not screw on and then a third one was the same. I obtained a refund and was told that this batch were "all warped" .... but they were still being sold on the website. Such a pity because the first one is brilliant....”

“Once we'd manged to open the lid (thanks for advice over the phone on how to do this!) the bin is absolutely fine. It easily holds your largish sack of bird food,( so economy of scale and fewer transport miles in my bird-food buying) and i am confident that it will keep out both damp and small(and less small) furry things”

“The bin is fine but it was in a fairly poor condition when it arrived (not in any packaging). it looked as if it had been stored outside and was dirty and quite battered. the lid had been forced on (not on the correct threads) so was difficult to undo. it was also wet inside and dirty. after a good clean it was good enough to use but still has a lot of scuff marks and stains on it. it could easily be second hand by the looks of it. i couldn't be bothered to complain or think about returning it.”

“These are great, however if not careful lid can get a bit jammed. So we just place on gently so thread catches. Working well also to combine and mix up own sacks purchased bird foods. Recommended x”
