Super Suet Fat Balls Reviews

With 50% more fat than our traditional Suet Fat Balls, our Super Suet Fat Balls are a firm favourite with garden birds and an extremely popular choice in most peoples' gardens. They are a valuable source of energy for a wide range of species, with the Tit family especially enjoying them. Made up of mealworm powder, peanut & wheat flour, finely ground & mixed with the suet, giving a pale finish. Beware of cheap suet balls as they can be mixed with sand, grit or sweepings to bulk them out

Arrived reasonably quickly although marked as different brand this may just be a trading name? They come loose in a cardboard box so need to transfer them into something more suitable for storage - this would be a positive environmentally especially if repeat ordering but I feel it should be noted on the product proscription. They look fine, I cannot speak to their flavour or nutrition. As for the birds; I am seeing depressingly low numbers, but that is why I thought to put out a feeder as there were so few.

The birds seem to like them! I was less satisfied with the delivery. DHL apparently lost the item the day before it was due to be delivered and Vine House Farm had to send another. This was delivered on time and in the right place, but DHL failed to alert us to their arrival and claimed wrongly that there was nobody at home.
