Suet Pellets - Insect Reviews

4.8 Rating 361 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

There are so many ways of feeding these suet treats - from a mesh peanut feeder (with or without peanuts), mixed with seed or simply on their own from a bird table or the ground. They are a favourite of Blackbirds, Robins, Song Thrushes and Starlings.

I can only judge by the birds' actions...and they love the product, which was delivered very quickly.

My garden birds, plus visiting mallard drake and cheeky but welcome squirrel, all love these suet pellets. I make up my own mix for my bird table and ground trays using a variety of Vine House Farm seeds, finely chopped peanuts, fresh fruit and these suet pellets. It’s very interesting to watch the various birds (and squirrel) sorting through the trays to find the bits they want and the suet pellets tend to go quickly. Always left until last are the black sunflower seeds - I think the critters are so used to the high class buffet in my garden that they seem a little resentful when they have to do a bit of husk removal!

This flavour seems to be a favourite of most of our garden birds, in particular a visiting pair of great spotted woodpeckers. I just wish that Vine Farm would give a better discount when buying more than one box.
