Our Dried Mealworms are a great source of protein and have been a real hit since we first introduced them. Dried mealworms have a similar level of fat and protein as the live equivalent.
What birds enjoy eating Dried Mealworms?
Dried mealworms will be eaten by most soft bill species and in particular Robins, Starlings and Blackbirds. House Sparrows will also eat them.
How do I feed Dried Mealworms to birds?
Dried Mealworms can be fed on their own, in a mealworm feeder or can be added to seed mixes. It’s very important that Dried Mealworms are soaked in water prior to feeding in the breeding season, as it is also the moisture that the young nestlings require.
How should I store dried mealworms?
They should be stored in a dry cool place.

Lovely fresh, good quality mealworms, a firm favourite with the birds that visit my garden. Excellent service, arrived promptly. Recyclable plastic packaging would be good, but at least not in more packaging than necessary and not in a large hard plastic tub.

Excellent service and delivery from Vine House Farm as usual. I understand some profits go to Wildlife Charity which is why I buy from them. The 1kg mealworms were a bit more expensive than some other places I can buy locally. Enjoyed by my Blackbirds and Robins!

Dried mealworms good value compared to local price and very popular with starlings. Perhaps too much so. I wish they would give other birds a look in !
