Read Vine House Farm Reviews

Our Dried Mealworms are a great source of protein and have been a real hit since we first introduced them. Dried mealworms have a similar level of fat and protein as the live equivalent.
What birds enjoy eating Dried Mealworms?
Dried mealworms will be eaten by most soft bill species and in particular Robins, Starlings and Blackbirds. House Sparrows will also eat them.
How do I feed Dried Mealworms to birds?
Dried Mealworms can be fed on their own, in a mealworm feeder or can be added to seed mixes. It’s very important that Dried Mealworms are soaked in water prior to feeding in the breeding season, as it is also the moisture that the young nestlings require.
How should I store dried mealworms?
They should be stored in a dry cool place.

Very good. A friend recommended that I soak them for a couple of hours. My friendly robin loves them and with no prompting eats them from my hand which is an absolute joy. The downside is he now only seems to want them above all the other mixture of seeds suet pellets cheese apple and dried fruit + the skin and flesh of melons!

Good and prompt service especially as it is free. Mealworms are just like ones we have always bought from our local garden centre but as we are in our eighties now it is much easier to order online with you. And we are happy to support you as you support the wildlife trust Kind regards June

Squirels more interested and ate the first lot before the birds could get to the container, Next lot out of reach. Too early to comment.
