Our Dried Mealworms are a great source of protein and have been a real hit since we first introduced them. Dried mealworms have a similar level of fat and protein as the live equivalent.
What birds enjoy eating Dried Mealworms?
Dried mealworms will be eaten by most soft bill species and in particular Robins, Starlings and Blackbirds. House Sparrows will also eat them.
How do I feed Dried Mealworms to birds?
Dried Mealworms can be fed on their own, in a mealworm feeder or can be added to seed mixes. It’s very important that Dried Mealworms are soaked in water prior to feeding in the breeding season, as it is also the moisture that the young nestlings require.
How should I store dried mealworms?
They should be stored in a dry cool place.

Good quality, the birds liked them, quick delivery and reasonably priced (for the larger bags). Would order again if the larger bags weren't out of stock (in the peak season!)

Good product. I add extra mealworms to the ground food (robin and friends mix) as they are so popular with all the birds.

Excellent clean product without any dust. Didn't realise they should be soaked before feeding to birds until I stumbled on this sometime later; consider writing on the label?

These arrive intact i.e very little dust and react well to soaking thus providing a good size digestible portion to eat in or takeaway.

Dried mealworms are very popular with our visiting birds - they disappear almost as soon as they're put out for them. No waste whatsoever.

I haven't tried them myself... but judging by their popularity with my garden bird visitors, they are excellent!
