Sultanas for Birds Reviews

4.8 Rating 80 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

Succulent sultanas are a real favourite of ground feeding garden birds such as Blackbirds, Song Thrushes and Starlings. Sultanas are especially valuable in late winter and spring when natural fruits are difficult to find.

In the breeding season Sultanas are best soaked in water so adult birds can feed them to their young. Sultanas and raisins are suitable for bird tables and ground feeders

Please note that sultanas can be harmful to dogs if eaten.

Nothing wrong with the product, a nice big bag of sultanas that I bought to treat my blackbirds. It's just that the blackbirds don't eat them!

Just a thank you actually! I bought a box of sultanas, which your website noted as good for blackbirds feeding their young. Initially they ignored them. After about two weeks they started to eat them. A few weeks later I now have several blackbirds going to my greenhouse and opening the box and feeding themselves! When I go out with the cup I use for soaking the sultanas the birds wait on the feeding station or join me in the greenhouse. Amazing!
