Sunflower Hearts Reviews

Read Vine House Farm Reviews

Sunflower Hearts are a nutritious seed and can be found in a number of our mixes. Being a great energy and protein source, Sunflower Hearts are ideal for all seasons and stages of life.
With the husk removed, birds can enjoy the whole seed without wasting energy on cracking them open to feed, which is especially important during the energy-conservative winter months.
Although Sunflower Hearts are more expensive to buy than Sunflower Seeds, you are not wasting money on husks that will not be eaten.
If you are concerned about larger birds and squirrels eating large quantities of sunflower hearts then ensure you choose the right bird feeder. We have Squirrel-resistant feeders and baffles in stock along with a full range of bird feeders and stations.

The birds in our garden seem delighted with the sunflower hearts that I put out in two feeders a couple of days ago. One of the feeders is already more than half empty, so it looks as if I'll be ordering another 13kg bag before too long!

Arrived on time and of very high quality. The birds love them. If you only do one bird seed - do this one.

Loved by the small birds in our garden. Watching them all feed from our garden room is such a pleasure.

This time our delivery was a definite disappointment. The quality of the seeds seemed to have significantly dropped and were sitting in quite a lot of 'dust'. Sadly this was a distinct difference from our first delivery. Perhaps this was because we bought a larger bag this last time and was a mistake? We were also wondering whether this meant that we had in effect spent more money for 'old rope'?

Birds are crazy for it, especially the goldfinches. Bullfinches too along with the sparrows. Blackies love them from the ground feeder. Pigeons would like them if they could get in the ground feeder cage.
