Sunflower Heart Chips are suitable for seed feeders, bird tables and ground feeder. Please note that if used on its own this product can stick in feeders in very damp conditions
“I haven’t had these long enough to really give an opinion. I can say though that I’ve changed to these as the premium high energy mix that I normally order doesn’t seem to be as good. It’s being left and then sticks to bird table or feeder. On reading reviews I noticed other people saying the same thing.
I also had problems with my order as I ordered meal worms on the same order and they weren’t delivered at all. I had to chase this up twice. Very unusual service for Vine House Farm.”
“Still some loss of food below feeder but not as much as with whole sunflower seeds (black or hulled). Popular with goldfinches and greenfinches but other birds such as blackcap, robin and dunnock occasionally go to feeder.”
“I have lots of goldfinches in my garden and the chips are easier for them to eat quickly. Also bluetits and sparrows love them. So much so that I am a regular customer of vine farms as I am constantly filling the feeders. !!”
