“I have used this product for a number of years and find the chips much better than the whole hearts for the small birds, such as goldfinches and blue tits, which visit our feeders. However, I will not be re-ordering from Vine House Farm for the reason given below.”
“The most popular feed for most of our birds. Goldfinches, blue tits, great tits, greenfinches, sparrows, robins, woodpeckers, starlings, are all regular this summer, with blackbirds, jackdaws and a pair of doves on the ground under the feeders. Pigeons of course. Wrens some days and very occasionally a pair of bullfinches.”
“These are very good quality chips, no waste & the birds love them. Great service from the farm & it is cheaper to buy them from there than where i live locally.”
“The sunflower chips are a new one on me, but a good compromise for putting in a feeder as well as on a surface. Also the blackbirds have to work harder to get through a feeding!”
