“I mix these little chips about 1:4 with the small black sunflower seeds. They bring the goldfinches in and keep the goldfinches really happy because they are less work then the shell-on seeds. Greenfinches open the black seeds and chaffinches scavenge anything dropped. The key to bringing the birds in is the shelled seed in the mix, the black shell-on seeds keep it free-flowing. Great value.”
