Robin has obviously got a lot of friends as this disappears as fast as I put it out.

This is the third year I've had this mix and all the finch type birds absolutely go crazy for it. Even Robins can balance on the feeders for it. I only wish I could have it on a flat feeder but there are too many other demanding 'mouths' , squirrels, jackdaws, magpies, crows etc but they do quite well from what is knocked out anyway. They are all so hungry and early this year, is it going to be a hard winter this year?

The wild birds love this mix, if I don't put the food out quickly enough one of the robins is bouncing up and down on the bird table calling to me each morning. It is also a very useful bribe to get the chickens back in their pen!

Given the number of visits this morning from two robins 'and friends' blue and coal tits, blackbirds and thrushes I would say a success. We add Vine's suet pellets also very popular.

A very popular mix with the soft-billed birds that visit our bird table - the robin especially likes the pink bits.
