“Solid construction should keep squirrels from destroying this feeder for a year or two. The cheaper wire feeders last hours or days rather than weeks with our resident population. Vine House Farm were very efficient in dispatch so the main order arrived within 48 hours. Very impressive.”
“This looks like a really good metal feeder, however our feeder arrived with a broken black plastic component to hold the lid on, so it wasn't usable in the manufactured way intended. We will try and hack it and get it working (it has been refunded, but no need to return) as the metal work is very robust and otherwise the design is very strong. Just the plastic components are a weak link for this feeder we got.”
“I have been looking for a sturdy feeder to put suet pellets in and was delighted with this one at first as it was easy to load and clean but the mechanism that holds on the lid has become faulty and unreliable. Bit disappointed as I haven't had it for long.”
“Feeder as such OK but unfortunately if there any any rats around they are able to gain purchase on this feeder.Same problem would arise with grey squirrels.
