“Have to ration it because it gets eaten so quickly! There's very litle waste as the ground feeding birds like chaffinchs polish off what the wasteful sparrows reject. Remember to move your feeder regularly though. Have had many poorly looking chaffinchs over winter and so there is a danger of spreading infection.”
