“I have used this seed for several years now. I fill 3 feeders every day and I also spend some on the ground. It all goes - faster than the finch seed, or the rape seed, or the white millet. This year I decided to replace one of the feeders I used to fill with chipped peanuts, and another that used to be filled with sunflower hearts, with the Premium High Energy and I don't seem to have had any complaints from the many residents.”
“I have only one problem with this seed mix and that is the high level of tiny seeds (millet?). I have a wide variety of birds using my feeders and they do not seem to like these seeds. The result is a forest of germinating seedlings on the ground under the feeders which are quite difficult to clear.”
