“Both the peanuts and fat balls are very very popular with lots of small birds and black and white woodpeckers. My sparrow population using the garden has doubled in the last two years. Bigger birds clean up under the cage. I use a feeder in a cage so that the resident sparrow hawks etc are foiled. I use a squirrel baffle as well for peanuts and wire the top to stop vermin like grey squirrels
