A very easy squirrel proof feeder which is easy to fill and take apart for cleaning. The lid screws down so clever as squirrels are, they shouldn't be able to get into it.
“At last. A feeder that largely thwarts domination by starlings. They try. They certainly try. But they give up because they just can't reach. My only criticism is that the bolt through the centre should be in a shaped recess at the bottom. Then I could undo the top to refill it with one hand while it sits on the worktop. Trying to hold the bolt still at the bottom with a finger of one hand, while undoing the top with the other hand is ok if you can use both hands. For the slightly disabled, this would be a massive improvement, & make it a 5 star.”

“I think it will be very good when the birds realise it is there....they have been frightened away by three squirrels who seem to think they own our garden and also one cat which has moved in with new neighbours just around the corner. We have never seen our garden so empty of birds as we used to have a huge variety. All gone since the squirrels obviously started nesting close by. Fingers crossed that they will come flocking back this autumn and winter.”
