The adjustable ground guard enables you to adjust the mesh to the size you require to keep unwanted ground visitors away and to be in control of those you wish to feed. It can be secured to the ground by stakes and you can also hang seed feeders within. Especially beneficial when keeping Starlings and other medium sized birds away, or squirrels.

“To be brutally honest, it is a good idea poorly executed. The quality on the one I received was well below par. I Contacted Vine House Farm and arrange to exchange it for the fixed ground guard a much better product. Vine House were very good in dealing with my problem and resolved it with no quarms and I hence give Vine house Farm 5 stars for the way they dealt with the problem not the adjustable guard.”

“It’s only a 3 I’m afraid as the fixing brackets that hold the roof on we’re all bent and needed straightening and 2 butterfly nuts and fixing screw are missing so had to fix with my own kit, the cage is a good size but not sure it’s worth the £30”

“Very disappointing product. Poor build quality, several of the captive nuts we missing or fell off during assembly. Bolt holes don't line up with the bolts unless you bend things. Once assembled it doesn't really work because the adjustable holes don't go all the way to the ground and blackbirds etc. don't seem to like to climb into the cage. They prefer to go in via the bottom holes and they aren't adjustable.”
