Live Mealworms Reviews

4.5 Rating 134 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

There's no doubt that more bird lovers would feed live mealworms to their garden birds if only they could get over the sight of all those wriggling little creatures. The rewards of feeding live mealworms far outweigh any misgivings you may have about their wiggle, and the benefits to birds - in particular during the nesting and fledgling season - can be spectacular and can make the difference between survival or otherwise.

They arrived well packaged and wriggling. I've been putting them out during March between showers. This is so the tits and robin learn early and we'll hopefully have frequent visits from them throughout the year.

They always come quickly and arrive fresh, plump and very wriggly. I use bran in shallow aerated tubs and sieve them every few day to keep them fresh. They keep for a fortnight or so in the garage. They’ve been a lifesaver for my Robins and Blackbirds this summer.
