There's no doubt that more bird lovers would feed live mealworms to their garden birds if only they could get over the sight of all those wriggling little creatures. The rewards of feeding live mealworms far outweigh any misgivings you may have about their wiggle, and the benefits to birds - in particular during the nesting and fledgling season - can be spectacular and can make the difference between survival or otherwise.

The worms are very popular with the birds - Robins are there instantly, followed by Blackbirds and others and they are gone in minutes. They do attract Magpies, but I guess that a full Magpie is less likely to predate other bird's eggs and chicks!

Arrived promptly, well packaged. Good size, lively worms which stored well but proved far too popular to last long.

Very prompt delivery. Worms of good quality. My garden birds are lining up every morning when they see me coming with their fresh mealworm supply.

Robin and I hve always had a close realationship. He would always come and comment on my diging technique and despite my best efforts to hide any exposed earthworms would usualy manage to steal a few. Since the arrival of mealworms, he has become even more attentive. Because of the consistent naging I have decide that he is a she.

I left them in the containers and placed under bushes for the smaller ground birds to find .
