Made with FSC timber, felt roof and finished with eco friendly preservative. This Nest Box was built based on BTO guidelines and has a hinged roof enables easy inspection and cleaning.
All wooden nest boxes are treated with a light oak preservative

“First one I received was badly made ,roof did not meet, and it would of rained in , had to return it, another one was sent out , and this was better. Are items not checked before being dispatched.?”

“A good solid box with felted roof and can be opened for cleaning at the end of the season. Easy to mount in position using the two pre-drilled holes. I fitted a metal plate round the access hole to prevent squirrels and other predators from enlarging it to get at the chicks.”
