“At this time of the year the birds need as much support as possible and meal worms are an excellent food. The feeder is practical and the worms don't climb out which has been a problem with other mealworm feeders. My first feeder arrived in a broken state and when I phoned, Vine House Farm immediately sent me a replacement. Such great service at a time like this. And the birds say thank you.”
“Been in use to feed live and dried mealworms, only visitors have been Starlings that take everything within seconds. Up to 4 Starlings on the feeder at once so no surprise there. Wouldn't recommend.”
We are sorry to hear that the starlings are eating all of the meal worms and the smaller birds have been unable to enjoy the food that you are providing for them, we could recommend a caged live food feeder to allow the smaller birds in to enjoy the meal worms and keep the larger birds out.
