“I have used these window alerts before at another house and found they did the trick of preventing birds from flying into my windows. This time I put 3 on each of two (not that large) susceptible windows and was astounded when, next day, a bird flew into one window between the 3 alerts. Luckily, it was unharmed and flew off. Maybe it was a juvenile who had no experience of anything ! Maybe it saw them at the last moment and started to pull up ?

“I've found a couple of dead birds that have flown into our glass ballustrades on our patio in the past. I've now stuck Window Alerts on the panels. Despite the description they are, in fact, quite visible to human eyes as well but they are not unsightly. Either way, if it stops the birds killing themselve it is a good investment.”
