Ideal for feeding live mealworms or suet pellets, the dome can be lowered to keep out larger birds and will keep food dry. The dome is made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate so will not crack or discolour with time and has drainage holes.

“Firstly I would like to point out that the The Robin Feeder was not well packed and the top of the box was only secured by a strip of tape so the feeder was almost falling out of the box when it arrived! Fortunately the feeder itself was surrounded by shredded cardboard so was in tact. The feeder was larger than I expected even though I had considered the measurements before ordering! Unfortunately it was too big to hang on the feeder pole with the other attachments already in place so I have had to position it on a small Acer tree adjacent to the feeder pole. I bought it to fill with shredded fat balls as I had bought a boxful and the birds hadn't been taking them from the feeder.which had been in position for some months! The only birds that have shown any interest in this shredded fat are the bluetits but now I find that many of the tits have now taken to eating the fat balls in the original fat ball feeder or the sunflower seeds so I don'really need the Robin Feeder after all! The robins still prefer to take sunflower seeds from the seed feeder. Maybe it would be more useful if it was filled with mealworms? Will consider that but can't face the live ones!!!!!”

“It is first class, so good at keeping out the rain. At first the little birds were a bit hesitant about using it but once they gained confidence it is now their regular feeding station. The pigeons try as they may have not managed to feed from it, long may that last. Would recommend it. Nanette Pollock”
