If you're not in favour of Parakeets visiting your garden, then the Parakeet Proof Cage should allow smaller birds to feed but prevent Parakeets from accessing the food. This should deter the Parakeets from stopping off in your garden and often frightening away your regular visitors with their loud squawking call.
Please note the Parakeet Proof Cage feeder does not come with a feeder. It will take any of these 4 port feeders Ring Pull Pro, Ring Pull Plastic or Droll Yankee Seed Feeder available separately.

“I was very disappointed to receive just the outer cage and no inner seed holder which was shown in the photograph on your website. I phoned expecting an apology and prompt delivery of the missing item. Your receptionist told me that it should have been ordered separately. I pointed out that there was no mention of this on your website and that it was included in the photograph and I had paid the full advertised price of £51.95, She told me that what I had received was correct. I subsequently wrote to you, that was almost two weeks ago and I am still waiting for a response.”

Hello, Thank you for your feedback, I apologise for the inconvenience caused and no one getting back to you sooner. The description in our catalogue and on our website does state that the Parakeet Proof Cage does not come with it's own feeder and does require one to be bought separately.

“Excellent product. Has transformed my garden from parakeet central to a haven for tits, robins and sparrows. Some adjustments were needed to the perspex dome to accommodate the feeder so make sure you have a compatible one or are handy with a drill.”

“Already have one but have purchased another. Very effective in letting the smaller birds in to feed and keeping the greedy starlings out. Unfortunately have been waiting for the Ring Pull Pro 4 port feeder which will fit the Cage to come in stock so until this happens am unable to use it.”

“This is the second Parakeet Proof Cage that I have purchased from Vibe House Farm because the I couldn't find the metal ring and plastic screw to assemble it properly. However, the 2nd cage does the job beautifully. It deters the parakeets and allows the little birds to feed undisturbed. It is easy to assemble, once you have all the bits. Definitely worth a purchase”

“It took the small birds a week to get used to it, which was fine. It is totally parakeet-proof. Need to be sure to buy the 4-port feeder, not the 2-port. The instructions would benefit from an illustration of how to assemble and not just small, printed instructions.”

“I haven't used it yet. I am waiting for Vine House Farm to supply a compatible bird feeder. I did not realise at the time of ordering that only a cage was supplied. My rating may improve when i can actually use the product. The 2 Star rating reflects my feelings about having very large box cluttering up my flat.”
