“I bought this, and queried with vine house as to whether this would keep out a larger bird such as a parakeet. The simple answer is that it does not. It has been returned. In fact the aperture size of each “Porthole” is in reality the same as a smaller model of 17cm width. So the plus side is that this feeder is wider at 24cm. By the way the dimensions of this feeder all the way round are not given in the booklet I was sent, which was another reason to ring.”

“Very solid feeders. No squirrels since I started using them. I also wanted to protect the birds from cats. Other feeders birds still reach the food from sitting on the outside of the cage, but mainly they are inside very safely munching away.”

“It keeps the squirrels and pigeons at bay and out of the garden without discouraging any of the small birds which makes the bird food last far longer. I wish I'd bought it before.”

“robust wide feeder, the best one I have got. I wanted to make sure that birds were safe (from my cats) inside the cage and it is brilliant. I havn't seen the squirrel either since installing it. He manages to find a way to eat with the other cheap caged feeders. I will buy another one when the other cheap one breaks down.”
