“The birds are loving it. They all form an orderly queue, with small ones like sparrows and tits flitting in and out. The robins and blackbirds get their fill, when I haven't been digging or watering enough to bring worms to the surface and even the doves and fat pidgeons manage to feed from it, as it doesn't sway and their weight doesn't knock over the tree it is in, as they do with the feeder stand.”
