“I use to buy ordinary wild bird feed, but only attracted Pigeons and Collared Doves who would drive any small birds away, since buying the Finch mix, I now get Sparrows, Gold Finches. some long Tailed Tits, Chaffinches and all sorts of small song birds, the resident Blackbird keeps in touch as does' the wood Pigeon who likes to clear up any dropped seeds, this mix is the best I have bought.”

Also melted some beef fat from the butchers and incorporated seed at a 1 part fat to 2 parts seed to make our own feed balls - filled some old terracotta flower pots with the mix and suspend upside down, which the tits and nuthatches can grip on to feed.
