“These are top of the range and all my garden birds adore them. I put some in hanging feeders and some in ground feeders for blackbirds etc. I have to protect all my feeders with small mesh cages otherwise the jackdaws would scoff the lot.
n.b. I have already spoken to VInehouse Farm about their packaging as white van delivery man tends to throw things around and the suet balls get broken in transit.”
“I am satisfied with the product.The box was left on the doorstep even though we were in the house When I picked the box up the bottom fell out distributing the 150 suet balls on the ground.Some were damaged and it took me time to retrieve the balls and re package them.A real pity!”
“Quality of the fat balls is good, but the packaging suffers in transit (2nd time I have ordered them with the same problem). Several of the fat balls are damaged on arrival and the tape on the top is gaping allowing bits to fall out. Extra tape around the boxes would help, and maybe a 'fragile sticker to avoid some of the 'throwing around' during transit.”
