I've not seen any squirrels on it or in it, having said that I've not seen any birds in it either yet, but something has had a crack at the food inside. I got this to defend the suet blocks from the local Jackdaws who can demolish one in a standard rectangular hanging holder inn a couple of days. If you're looking for a hanging suet block feeder, this is the only cage feeder I could find in the UK when I started looking, but it looks good, is made by CJwildbird which is a bonus due to their excellent reputation for feeders. As long as it's fairly cheap, it's worth a crack.

Works as I wish. Stupidly made, a good design easy to use. Just hope when the young squire come along it will still be effective.

Quick delivery, and the squirrels have given up. Pity that only the smallest birds (tits) can get into it. The robins etc are just too chubby, but it serves its purpose well.

I have been looking for a product that would protect suet blocks from ravening squirrels For some time. Decided to try your block feeder and erected it in my garden, same day observed two adult Grey squirrels simultanaesly attempting to eat a protected suet block - They failed completely!! Job done, very pleased with this block feeder. Recommend it to anyone wanting to feed birds and not squirrels.
